
Endless blue skies, blistering heat, eating my body weight in mint chocolate ice cream… this is not just any summer this is a British (Covid-19) summer. If you live here in Old Blighty, then you will know that these sorts of temperatures don’t happen very often so I would be a fool not to take advantage, right?
So other than topping up my tan what have I been doing with my time?
I am writing a new book. This one is set in Sheffield just before the start of WW2. I am only halfway through it though. I am finding this one a bit of a challenge. There is a lot of research involved. Plus, there are far too many distractions.
Recently, I watched a very good webinar on how to hook yourself an agent, a difficult task I think you will agree. But it certainly gave me some points to consider. Like keeping your letter to 300 words among other things.
